About

Avtar and I first opened the doors of India Palace November 5, 1996. Throughout the years, Indian food has been unfamiliar to most, but we have enjoyed introducing the residents of the Rogue Valley to “The Exotic Flavors of India”.

Indulge in the Rich Tapestry of Authentic North Indian Cuisine

As the years pass, we continue to provide our home-style and flavorful authentic North Indian cuisine. Many have come to love our delicate, subtle, mild curry sauces, and a few have dared the bravery of our hottest level 10 spiced curries! Whatever your individual tastes are accustomed to, our staff can recommend that flavorful exotic dish for your specific desire.

From Generation to Generation, Welcoming New Additions with Joy and Love

Through the years, many of you have come to know our children...Jiven (Jeremy), Jasa (Josh), Kawita, Rani, and Chandni, and have watched them grow...and as the years have passed, we have welcomed our daughters-in-law Jacqueline and Ali, and our adorable grandson, Skyler!

Jeremy and Josh's Success in the Restaurant Industry Shines Bright

Both Jeremy and Josh have stayed in the restaurant industry. In fact, Jeremy and Jacqueline have opened the doors to their new restaurant, “Loft-American Brasserie,” serving American food with a French infusion! Doors opened in January 2010, located on the Plaza in Ashland. As Jeremy is the Head Chef, our son Josh is the Sous Chef. Congratulations...we couldn’t be more proud!

Heartfelt Gratitude to Our Children for Upholding India Palace's Legacy

Our children are very important to us, and we thank all of them for their support and help here at India Palace, their love, and, most of all, their understanding for all the hours of dedication in owning a family restaurant.
